Shardlow & Great Wilne Parish Council have appointed a consultant to oversee producing a Parish Plan which will shape the work of the Parish Council over the next 10 or so years.
Thank you to all of the residents of Shardlow & Great Wilne who came along and supported the Parish Plan Steering Group over the weekend of 26th & 27th June 2021.
We had a lot of engagement from residents, lots of comments recorded on the postcards and we are now ready to move on to the next stage of the plan which is a much more detailed household survey, with targeted questions; which will be delivered to every household in the parish in the January 2022.
The household survey will be predominantly web-based but there will be provision for residents who are not internet users.
The survey has been created in conjunction with a steering group consisting of member Councillors from the Parish Council, residents and local community group representatives, with input from District and County Councillors responsible for the Aston Ward. In total there were 96 postcards returned with circa 500 comments recorded, and the content of these comments has been analysed in the attached document, and used to create the in-depth household survey.
Once your leaflet has been delivered, you will be able to complete the survey immediately online via the link or the QR Code. If you need any assistance with this, please contact the Clerk who will gladly help you.
